As If Overnight Gary Dunne Until last year, we were like Peter Pan and the Lost Boys. Now we are blatantly mortal. It's as if we've changed overnight and will never be that young again. Gary Dunne was born in the Adelaide Hills in 1954. After a brief stint at Adelaide Uni in the early 70s, he spent the rest of the Whitlam era travelling the backblocks of Australia with Ashton's Circus. Settling in Sydney in late 1975, he became a freelance contributor to Forum and Campaign magazines, beginning a 30 year ongoing underpaid involvement with the gay press. His fiction has been published in Australian literary mags and anthologies, as well as in local and international gay publications.
